A national bus company formally initiated legal action to prevent ridesharing and force us to suspend operations. We used the power of our community to put pressure on the government, and as a result the laws were changed. This paved the way for the future of ridesharing. Uber started operating in 2009 and Lyft in 2012.
During its peak, PickupPal had over 1 million page views a month, and more than 100 brandname partners, including Live Nation®, AEG Live®, The Home Depot®, Nike®, Virgin®, and the Canadian Football League (CFL).
